It was a cold sunny day. I drove you home from the breeder, and you were crying in a small box on placed in the back seat... It was like yesterday, Jia Jia. Now you have gone to another home, our permanent home in Heaven, joining God children's family. I know you now are in a better place, but still miss you terribly. I know you are watching over us from above, but I cannot see you. How much I wish I could cook some meat balls for you, take you for a walk, hug you, kiss you, never let you go. I'll miss the mornings when you wake me up for breakfast, or waiting for me at the front door as I come home for work, or laying in my lap as we doze off to sleep. Every Christmas I now lose a friend, and I can't celebrate this season any more - fearing what it will bring. You left us so quickly - it seemed like yesterday you were happy and healthy and now you're gone. Thank you for the many years of comfort and happiness you gave me. Posted on Saturday, December 22, 2007         09:12:41 am Owner's Name:  Ziana Verna | Pet's Name: PRINCESS & RUFUS We got a very, very sad news today, PRINCESS, we just lost your loving friend RUFUS to kidney failure. We send him to the hospital two days ago, we were hoping that it wasn't really very serious, coz we thought he was doing ok, we were wrong, very, very wrong. I didn't know that it'll be the last time that I will see him alive & that it'll be the last time that I'll be able to hold him. We got the news this morning & I'm really very devastated & angry & sad coz it was only 10 mos. ago that we lost you PRINCESS!! Now, it's RUFUS, can't help but ask WHY?? What have we done to deserve this?? We have taken care of all of you well, as far as I'm concerned.... But I am just thinking that maybe this is the best thing that we can do for RUFUS, he's suffering so much from this kidney failure, though it came to us as a surprise also, just like your liver cancer & we thought he was healing already, with all the medicine & special diet the doctor gave him. Maybe he misses you too, coz you two were close last time. More like he likes to get close to you but you just hate him, hehe, I don't know why. But I hope that when you see him there you won't be fighting him anymore okay. Stay close to him, I am now at peace that you have a companion up there now. You both take care there okay...don't forget that we love you & we do miss you both terribly here!! Rufus, we are deeply affected with your passing...I'm a bit shock when I got the call from the hospital this morning. I know you as a survivor, so I'm not a bit worried when they admitted you, you look worse when we first bought you, & you were hospitalized also that time, for almost 3 weeks, but you survived it, that's why I know you're not going to give up easily this time also, but I was wrong. Maybe, this is just the time for you to end your suffering.But I am happy as well, coz I know, now, you don't feel any pain anymore..We love you Rufus....we will miss you around the house. Goldie & Romeo misses you too, they kept on smelling your favorite spot in the house & looking for you all over here. Just guide them from up there okay. Pray that they maybe given good health so that they can stay with us longer.Stay with PRINCESS always. No fighting there okay. Don't ever forget that we love you very, very much.
